GIF Recreation Report

This document tracks GIF files that need to be recreated for the DiCivil documentation.

Files Requiring Recreation

1. Select multiple rows.gif

  • Status: Needs recreation
  • Issue: Contains a bug in the demonstration
  • Location: assets/images/Tips/Select multiple rows.gif
  • Used in: docs/DiCivil-Tips.md - “Select multiple rows” section
  • Priority: High - Bug affects user understanding

Bug Details

The current GIF demonstrates selecting multiple rows but contains a visual bug that may confuse users about the proper selection process. The demonstration needs to be recreated to show the correct multi-row selection behavior.

Requirements for Recreation

  • Show proper Shift+click selection process
  • Demonstrate selecting first row, holding Shift, then clicking last row
  • Ensure visual clarity of the selection process
  • Remove any visual artifacts or bugs from the current version

Notes

  • All other GIF files in the Tips folder appear to be working correctly
  • This report should be updated as new issues are discovered
  • Once recreated, this entry should be marked as completed
